Hi,
I've taken on a rather large job at a business (warehouse storage) where health and safety has sadly been neglected for a very long time, long story short there are a lot of RAMs to write from scratch!
Ive written a large detailed risk assessment based on all MHE on site but it was mentioned to me to make it more specific ie - forklift deposit pallet in racking RAM, forklift taking pallet from racking RAM.. etc etc
My large MHE RAM includes this information already, but could somebody with more experience please let me know if my way is correct? or should I create lots of small RAMs? i feel stupid even asking the question if I'm honest but I just want to do my absolute best!
Kind regards
K

I would suggest
Do one for each type of equipment that covers the tasks they are used for
Once you've done one, you'll have the basics for the rest and will make completing the rest easier

I agree with Coldrop
But I would also get some operators trained in how to do Risk assessment and get them to risk assess their areas of operation. As well as raising the risk awareness you will get better assessments and a lot more done.

If you think safety is a pain, try a leg fracture.
