Hi all,
May I enquire if anyone has an example of a risk assessment for assessing the ground conditions to establish the type of access equipment that could be used for works to a four storey building.
Many thanks

Re: Risk Assessment Query
A bit more information required?
Is this for siting a crane or other heavy plant? High reach?

If you think safety is a pain, try a leg fracture.

Re: Risk Assessment Query
Hi,
For assessing the ground condition to determine the integrity will require specialist equipment and persons. They can assess what tonnage can be applied to certain areas of the ground and what requirements you may require to upgrade. From there you can apply controls measures to assess heavy equipment you require i.e. routes and no-go areas.
