NEBOSCH (Rospa or RCC Training)

Post by sdpphilp »

Well hello members! :)

Steven here, recently joined (all of 10 minutes ago) he he and I wanted to say hello and gauge some feedback on obtaining my NEBOSCH.

I am about to sign up for the distance learning qualifications and I have the decision to go with RCC or ROSPA; but I don't know which one to go with.
Does anyone have a recommendation for me or have any feedback on both? There is a massive price difference and as I am paying for this I want to make sure I get the best value.

It will be distance learning, as I cant afford the time out of the office.

Thank you, and I look forward to speaking with you all in due course.

p.s. if anyone is Manchester based it would be great to put a face to a name and for me to attend any networking groups..... :)

Hi Steven

Welcome to the forums

Unfortunately although I know both of the providers by name I have had no personal dealings with them .scratch

Good luck with your NEBOSH ../.

We also have downloads which can help study/revise:

Hi Steven

i did the NEBOSH distance learning with the British safety council was a ok course but pricey around £600.
i ended up going down the NCRQ cert route after getting refer on 2 exams.

due to similar situation as you getting time off work etc.
i did some research and found the NCRQ certificate so did that
if you want to do distance learning mite be worth having a look at that.

good afternoon Steve,
I have used RRC on 2 out of the 3 NEBOSH courses.
I have found them to be excellent in both course content and customer support.
Price was very good as well.
also they now have a Manchester city centre exam centre which is a bonus.
( not as close as previous exam centre in Leyland, but still not far from me)
kind regards
Gav

Hi Steve,

I also did distance learning for my NEBOSH Diploma and went with RRC. The only thing I would say is it is worth doing their revision workshops (which you can do even if you choose another provider). I would have failed Unit A without going to the workshop. It's only one day per unit, and if you are Manchester based, they run them in Chorley.

Good luck,
