I would say yes.

The NI assemblyy seem to have different are have added things to exsisting legislation, and have passed there own Acts. The web links below have information about both.

http://www.opsi.gov.uk/legislation/nort ... egislation" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hope this helps.

Northern Ireland is governed my UK law. but NI has it's own law society (link below) maybe browse on that, and you'll probably find that both are relevant.

the uk one is..................

A policy statement is a statement of intent only - i.e. "we will do the right thing".

The HSE sometimes confuses things by also calling the manual and procedures a policy.
However, the "policy statement" itself should only be saying that you will comply with your legal requirements - job done.
There is no need to quote specific regulations or acts, or countries of issue.

An easy way around it would be to say " we will comply to UK law"
But what happens if you then do some minor work in the EU.

It sounds like your "Policy" needs a re-hash,
and there might be a little room for improvement within the document review /approval procedures.
