IOSH or iiRSM

Post by Toasterinthebath » Sat Oct 19, 2019 8:36 pm

Hello Folks,

(Please be gentle)

I have recently completed my NCRQ Certificate for HSD1 and looking at applying for TechIOSH or via down the iiRSM route.

I am after some guidance and advice on which one would be the best?

My background is working in Security for 10 years and the last 5 years as a Contract/Operations manager
- Conducting initial site meetings
- Risk assessments of the sites
- Tool box talks
- Submitting the company CHAS and construction line companies application
- leading the ISO9001 audit

I have previously completed by IOSH Managing Safety back in 2017 and attended the Security EXPO event in Birmingham at the start of the year.

Any advice and suggestions i am all ears

Thanks Folks

Only you can decide which is best for you. But you may able able to apply for student membership for both if you are doing the full diploma. that way you can decide yourself which is better.

If you are going for the full diploma and do decide on IOSH, it may be worthwhile waiting until you can apply for gradIOSH.
