Re: 'Fire Doors' with asbestos lining
I don't know about answers to your questions but... I would personally look to have the doors (asbestos) removed and replaced. To me, without actually seeing location, how many times used, etc, it is foreseeable that the asbestos could easily be damaged and release fibers that could harm someone's h...

Re: DSE for home workers - within a Flexible working policy/ arrangement
Hi T, If i work from home i do not have a work desk, office chair, etc. I work on a stool at my breakfast bar in the kitchen! Perfectly comfortable and allows me to work standing if i want (which i like). Only other option for me is the really uncomfortable dinner table and awful chair! Always needs...

Re: In an interview dou you, give the answer they want or the answer they need
Hi Steve, Actually a really good post! You 100% did the right thing IMHO to give the answer you did! They might not have liked the answer and wanted you to be the H&S police with the big stick. If that not you and you don't get the job, probably a good thing! And you are right, you get to that p...

Re: Lone working policy
Probably need a little more context this to this...how many on site at the time? How close are they? How long does person use FLT's? I certainly would not want any FLT driver distracted by using a phone while operating a FLT, especially when alone in a warehouse! A better way would be to have the FL...
