Re: First Aid Training Organisation

Thanks witsd

I believe it will but its just proving that to our HR team (who pays for the training) rather than a company linked to a qualification body

Re: Damp and Mould RA

Hi Molly

Is the risk assessment for staff entering a property on a visit where mould and damp is present or for the health effects on the person living in the house?

First Aid Training Organisation

Hi all What are peoples thoughts on whether you should use a training organisation that are regulated (providing Ofqual recognised type qualifications) and non regulated (in house certificated)? We are currently looking at several organisations to run our courses for staff and there is a local organ...

Re: Confined space of not ? that is the question......

Hi Im not sure if this company can advise on confined spaces but they may know someone who can. I attended a Low & Medium Manager/Supervisor course with them a couple of years ago and easily the best more informed course Ive ever attended https://sota-training.com/ * *Other training organisation...

Ladder with top spreader bar

Hi all Im trying to find a ladder with a top spreader bar so it can be used on windows (bar would sit on wall either side of window) similar to this one: NELT_-_Single_Section_-_Stabiliser_Bar__53140.jpg This one is on bottom of ladder but I'm looking for one that connects to top of a ladder, I've s...

Re: Returning to work Tool box talk / briefing

Hi TWDB Good to hear you want to help your staff on their return something that many people forget that it can be a tough time after a break and in current financial situation. I’ve planned a get together to welcome staff back and chat through a couple of the early works we have planned. Getting the...

Re: Man down alarms

When I worked for a University we used a really good phone based system for lone workers and to raise alarms if in trouble (perhaps more complicated than you want), if you want details of the company drop me a PM

Re: IOSH Blueprint

For me it's really poor, just spent a few days going through it and completed a review with my line manager this morning. A lot of the self-assessment isn't designed for the H&S Professional who has a normal day job, there were a lot of questions where I have never been involved with (and probab...

Re: Accessing roof from ladders

Not sure if the ladder ties you have and the training is the same as this ladder access system, but I really wish more roofers used something like this. Setting this system up and take down was less than 12 minutes. https://www.css-worksafe.co.uk/fall_pro ... ety_system Only thing is there would ne...
