Hi - why not contact you nearest electricity network supplier - they have to fit grounding rods - I am sure they will be able to advise.

Hi Paddy - remember the figures you get from the supplier are the lowest the vibration signature will ever be as they have not been used in anger and are straight off the production line.
If the tool is older and has not been maintained, the vibration signature may be very much higher.

How about you and him doing a lifting risk assessment together? Show that you take his complaint seriously - let you identify any weaknesses this person has. And record it!
Think about it - if he goes off with a bad back and you did not assess the situation after he has compained about it????
