Thanks again Frankie. I shall look into those at home as I don't have access to youtube at work.
All the best.

Re: Witness Statements
Hello, I normally give them our template, which gives them pointers of what they can include i.e anything they saw, heard, smelt etc, where they were in relation to the incident etc. I also explain why we need a comprehensive statement. I them go through the statement with them, go to the place wher...

Thanks for trying Alexis.
It seems no one has opinions on this or have any bits and pieces they are willing to share.

Re: Can you over cook it.
I don't think this would be the way forward. Yes, look into to RA's and provide the correct PPE for the tasks conducted BUT a blanket policy will not do you any favours. Safety glasses might give employees a false sense of security and they will not offer sufficient protection for some tasks where g...

Young Workers H&S awareness
Good evening ladies & Gents, Hope you are all well. I'm putting together a training session for young workers, many over 18 but still unaware of the real life out there! I would appreciate if any of you have any training materials, tips, video clips etc that you are willing to share with me in o...

I don't see any discrimination there to be perfectly honest.

Re: aerial work platforms
The anchor point is there for restraint purposes. i.e preventing operator from leaving the confines of the platform. it should always be used on cherry picker type MEPW as the is always the risk of being catapulted out. On scissor lifts if could be down to you risk assessment when working environmen...

Re: Leaving a known hazard
If I know in my heart that a potential hazard can lead to a major injury I would not walk by. I do understand where you are coming from though.

Re: NGC3
Hi, You probably will have already completed your assignment by now but yes, there is nothing wrong with making up some hazards, the important thing is to be able to identify the hazard AND the consequences and of course propose immediate and long term measures to control hazard effectively. You can...

Re: CV Template
I really don't know how you keep up Alexis. If you were to charge £1 for each CV you have reviewed you would probably have enough for a luxury holiday in the Caribbean! I would have been more than happy to pay my £1. you are commendable. your help has certainly opened doors for me.
