Re: NCRQ and future job prospects

When I've spoken to my manager at work he basically said that it was a mickey mouse qualification and would not give it the time of day. However, I do feel that there are other factors at play. Let me guess, Your ...

Re: What qualification do you need to train Health and safety

Hi bernicarey.
I saw that one at £39. How is this possible?

I believe that the difference will that one will offer you qualification QCF and the other only certification.
What difference will it make?

Re: What qualification do you need to train Health and safety

Hi, just pinking this email to ask, what are the practical differences between QCF Level 3 Award in Education & Training AET and Certificate in Advanced Skills for Practical Trainer Level 3?

Which will be better for a HS practitioner?

Sorry, being quite new to Health and Safety I'm just a bit nervous that we could get a visit from the H...

Re: Mentor advice

Are you briefing with the site manager before you leave?
There is no point to leave 100 NC if nothing happens.
Manage a reasonable target with the site manager and try to engage them in HS.
You can also share the HS supervision with them.

According with the British Stainless Steel Association: "If you are concerned about the possible harmful effects of hexavalent chromium – don’t be – unless you plan to use powerful oxidizing agents while you grind and polish stainless steel.
