Re: Reviewing CCTV Footage

it is almost certainly not to be used to spy on your workforce! Most often than not its sole use is for crime prevention and the protection of the work force not the other way around. Oh what sheltered lives we lead... The phonecalls i've taken over the years as a manger from the owners using...

Ice Resurfacer goes up in flames.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2joc6epECWc Something fun to watch. I worked in the ice rink industry for around 17 years on and off, 13 as a manager and its where I started out in health and safety as well. I would be confident in saying, in the uk, the number of rinks that have an emergency actio...

Re: Covid isolaters told to wait before evacuation

Poop happens. I understood their position and have no hard feelings about it, but getting back in to work is proving a problem. I'm not prepared to relocate this time but im also in an awkward area not many jobs get advertised. Had a few agencies talk to me about london but it would have to be shed ...

Covid isolaters told to wait before evacuation

Apparently the University of York issued guidance to the students who were being imprisoned over fears they have the Kung Flu that should the building start burning down around them they should wait one minute and let the healthy people out first. Or words to that effect... The local fire service we...

Re: Fire risk. Multiple Perspex Covid Screns

You know, bringing up things like that will not get you invited to the christmas party...

I suspect very very few people looked at this and very very few people will have the guts to say to the boss, err... you know all that money you reluctantly spent on these silly screens, well...
