Morning AFD, Cant you use a nylon sling? This could be either attached directly to the joists or in between the chain and the crane hook. I emailed IOSH directly and have been told that as I have both Diplomas I don't have to complete the assessment or portfolio. Happy days
They just need to audit my CPD and then my peer review interview.

Hi Messy,
So what does your employer classify a fires as?
As you say, you have to investigate these to identify the why's and how's.
Obviously for me in oil and gas its a straightforward incident and this will generate the required paperwork dependent upon the seriousness of the incident.
