Re: Upgrading Nebosh Certificate to NEBOSH construction Cert

From memory, if you do another certificates course within 2 (maybe 3) years of qualification you don't have to re sit the first module/part.

I'm talking a few years ago so this might have changed

Re: Man cages (fork lift safety cage)

Man cages should be LOLER inspected every 6 months if carrying people and there definitely should be a risk assessment for using it. Agree with Grim's comments above on pre-use inspection too. I had a least one at each company i've worked at. I've seen them used really well :) and very badly!

Re: Road traffic accident - company van and two staff - lost time recorded where?

Morning T, Few points to think of here. Were the guys "commuting" i.e. travelling to normal place of work or considered as working while travelling to a work site? If the latter, definitely work related injuries and should be recorded as such. A caveat though, some companies do record comm...

Re: Non conformances - Quality ( not H&S)

Hi T, I used to manage NCR's through excel spreadsheet and categorized the failures to check trends through failure mode, depts, RC completion and CA verification. Reported to middle/top management regularly mainly to ensure CA was completed, then deeper dive at management review. I used to put up m...

Never used AI or Chat GPT for anything.
