Morning all,

Overcast but still seemed quite mild when I let the dog out.

Working from home again today, with the good lady working opposite me.

Have a good one!

Re: COVID19 - Work transport

Morning, I have a friend that works in railway maintenance. He would normally travel round and pick up the other workers on his shift (3/4 persons depending on job, etc). With that many people in one van they cannot observe the 2 meter rule. So they have given them a van each to travel, then they wo...

Re: Online Course Suggestion

I have tried to enroll with Middlesbrough for the Mental Health course today but received an email back saying they dont receive Adult Education funding for learners from my location (NorthWest) so I cant enroll. Quite disappointing really, was looking forward to that course. Merlot Shame I'm not l...

Re: 45001 - transition to new standard - help

Hi T, Not leaving yourself much time to assess and amend stuff! Wouldn't be surprised if the transition audit gets cancelled given current situation. As a starter, ask your certification body. They should have some sort of transition guidance. You could also look on the websites of LR, NQA, BSI as I...

Re: Mobile ladders with platforms as permanent stairs

Hi Stephen, Not something I would recommend. It only takes someone to move them or something to fail and add someone else not paying attention or seeing as they are carrying a box. I would see this is a foreseeable risk and would be highlighted as such in a risk assessment of the area or process. Ob...

Re: Online Course Suggestion

Hi, I've been looking for cheap options too, seen some free ones but more towards Managing Safety level (NCRQ are offering it free currently). Did notice a free Level 2 Mental Health course if that is of any interest? https://www.mbro.ac.uk/career-choices/course/20217-C481-Awareness-of-Mental-Healt...

Re: Health surveillance

Try EE UK Ltd based in Staffordshire.

The only thing they don't do is the staff bit (I think).

Re: Thurs 26th March 2020

Morning all, Nice and sunny again in the SE. Back into work today after a days holiday yesterday. Probably will start 50/50 work/work from home next week. As key workers we've gotta keep going making vital drugs to keep people healthy! Most people working from home so much quieter in the office, onl...
