Congratulations and thank you - without doubt the best and most knowledgeable and friendly bunch of safety professionals on any H&S forum I've come across. Thank you too Alexis - you should both be very proud of what has been created - crazy to think it is 20 years old.

I'd suggest you read through the PM28 Guidance notes from the HSE - see https://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/pm28.htm where you can download a copy for free. It should give you everything you need to decide whether it is suitable for you to continue using or not. For occasional use and in certain situations...

Yup as above comments - it really does depend on the RA, as others have said just because they are in the same area doesn't mean they are exposed to the same risks.
