Re: NVQ 5 in Occupational Health & Safety v NEBOSH Dipolma
your comment comes across as quite disparaging to all those who have achieved the Diploma from many, many months of hard study. Please accept my apologies  I certainly didn't mean to suggest anything like that. I know how much stress sitting that exam causes. What I meant by "naming"...

Re: Shared Premises

Re: Do some people have a death wish?
Terry - I understand your frustration  Next time someone does something stupid, take their photo. Make sure they know you're taking it too (shout "say cheese!" or something like that). The usual response from this is for them to ask you what the heck you're doing. "Just taking y...

Re: NVQ delivery via OCR Awarding Body
This is true - we had confirmation from OCR today. If you are a learner: make sure you have your enrolment number. If your training provider hasn't given you an enrolment number yet then pester them for it now. We normally register learners after their first session with the assessor (that's me :wav...

Lots of applicants, with the final decision being made to take on someone who ...

Re: Thursday 11 July
Morning Angie, Dave and Will  Hello to everyone who follows too :) Weather here is overcast but quite stuffy. Reckon it'll be a scorcher later on. I've got a careers convention to attend this afternoon - trying to convince young-uns that FE is for them. At least it'll get me out of the ...
