To cut out any doubt,change the socket the appliance is plugged into,to a Fused Spur,remove the plug and wire the appliance into the spur with the correct fuse size etc.

HI The unfortunate thing is a lot of companies are the same,i.e Production comes first.BUT if you see an unsafe act which should be stopped.I would send out an e.mail with all the read/received attach to it and if they say it cant be stopped you have got proof in black and white to cover your own ba...

Because Directors /Senior management cannot be compliant,OR agree to any work being carried out ( which in their eyes is just a waste of money ) I always think it is better to put your recommendations/concerns down in an e.mail and send it all to everyone concerned.And ask for a send / read receipt....
