Re: Storage Carousel - LOLER?

Nothing that browne4573 or Drsplib have said has convinced me that it is LOLER. I refer you back to my previous http://www.healthandsafetytips.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=33044#p252597" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; In most cases LOLER will not apply to work equip...

Re: Posters

Agree with the other responses regarding making your own - you can do what you want then; blunt and to the point or more detailed and info based. If you know someone with photoshop skills it could be worthwhile getting them to jazz it up a bit, thats what I do with anything I want to look presentab...

Re: Hands up whose head is bursting then...

Wow, that is brave! I have heard success stories though! I did all three units at once, started unit A course in September 2010 and took and passed all three consecutive exams in January 2011. Don't wait too long like I did to start Unit D. In my opinion unit D is the hardest of them all. Managed i...

Re: NEBOSH Graduation & Awards Ceremony

This took me the best part of 4 years to get through and my wife has put up with a lot. To celebrate we are coming down for the weekend from Aberdeenshire. No one in my family has graduated from anything so I am unbelievably chuffed to get the chance. Gown and photo package ordered Should be worth ...

Re: Ipad risk assessment application with Apple

I have created a template for use on Iauditor which uses the standard form for fire risk assessment, I have been extra kind and uploaded it to the public library. Search for Gary Browne and you'll find it easy enough. I have used it and sent the document off to our local enforcement officer and he s...

Re: Unit B+C simultaneously. ..

Hi Gareth To answer your question, Yes, it's viable. It really depends on you and how you are studying; Intensive, day release, evening classes, Distance Learning, e-Learning, Blended, did I miss any option out? I did Unit A, followed by Units B&C with Unit D hot on their heels. That was all en...

Re: Unit B+C simultaneously. ..

I did units A,B&C simultaneously. A two week course for A in September/October, 9 days for B in November/December and 8 days for C in December/January before taking all three exams consecutively in the same January (4 days after the end of the unit C course). I passed all three so anythings poss...

I have no academic qualifications prior to starting along the NEBOSH road so if I can do it then anyone can. Big cheers and...

Re: Working at height

We have lots of vertical ladders on silo's. We have back scratchers fitted to all of them but wanted to fit fall arrest to the ladders as an extra precaution. I currently have a patent pending on an anchor point designed to be permanently affixed to a vertical ladder with a sliding mechanism to allo...
