The process for all practicals is that the centre marks the papers using the NEBOSH marking guide. Then the marks go to NEBOSH on the practical marking registration form. To be honest most jobs require reference from last employer or current
but normally references are not taken up unless job is going to be offered or they ask permission

but yes application forms more so online are becoming longer and longer, i prefer the ones you just attach cv too:)
