Given the master/ servant relationship, I'd use employer/ employee with reference to visitors and contractors.

Re the sending of recorded del communications, I make a point of never accepting R/D mail unless I'm expecting a del of some sort. Recorded del is for the senders benefit so unless I know what it is, the mail will go uncollected.

If the injured party has been signed off work as unfit then this should be respected and alternative means considered to wrap things up from an investigative perspective. I certainly wouldn't be turning up at his home.

Have some consideration for the maintenance guys who may have to work here. Plant rooms being used for storage is a pet hate of mine, there is a danger of everyone's unwanted rubbish ending up here, better not to start this practice imho.

An inspection may record that they are not to current standards, that doesn't necessarily mean the installation is unsafe.

Road vehicle lighting regs stipulates the lamp must carry an approval mark, dipped beam above 55w and main beam exceeding 60w wont carry such marking.

Where was the supervision? Training records - was the employee suitably trained (was it adequate & relevant) ? Was this normal practise? Does the workplace culture encourage this? Did the injured individual appreciate his actions - was he aware of the hazards? Was there a suitable & sufficient writt...
