Re: Inspections - risk profiling
Hi Alexis, That is exactly where I saw what I am saying. That is the HSE website I am talking about. I know what is a tour, and that is where I started to be really confused. Sorry to insist, but I know this is a basic thing that I should have crystal clear at this stage of my studies. My exam is i...

Re: Confined spaces
Hi, I found in UK HSE L101 “Safe work in confined spaces - Confined Space Regulations 1997”; "Respirators should never be used in oxygen-deficient atmospheres". But then I find that respirators must be the last resource, only used in oxygen-deficient atmospheres and a couple of more excep...

Re: CPR Right Now - Resus UK
CPR is changing anyways shortly to 'chest compressions' only so I'm led to believe. especially if just a bystander. Compressions only is fine if in a big city as the first responders/ambulance can hopefully get to you in 4-5 minutes. Doing 'Compressions' only without an open airway is pointless aft...

Re: Now questioning my ability to carry out FRA
Wouldn't get yourself down. They're experts in their field. you've only completed a Fire cert. This. This is just so wrong - what the hell are you doing if you are not competent. In occupational health and safety, if you DO miss something, there are others - employees, supervisors, managers - that ...

Re: IOSH Peer review interview
There's been a lots of topics on this over the years. Key thing is not to take anything for granted when talking to your 'Peers'. Don't assume they know the basics. You might have 3 individuals who have great experience and knowledge in their own areas, but know absolutely nothing about your field....

Would be better to see that cyclists become mandated to give-away to vehicles and no double stack when riding.
