Re: Cleaning wood dust off operatives
Hi Kath Absolute no to the use of airlines to blow dust off of them, this creates further hazards as indicated below by another forum friend. Have you tried disposable overalls with over shoes & hoods? we pay around 1.95 for them but for the handling of asbestos. Using these will enable them to ...

Hi Row
Already done that bit, and insurers are happy with the 12 monthly inspection, likewise the OEM's as stated in the manufacturers recommendations, I'm just waiting for a colleague of mine from BE to get back to me on it now and ill be happy..

Re: VNA FLT - Can a second person travel in the cab, for stock-taking
Hi
In the short, no you cannot carry a second person in a VNA, the easy option to get around this would be to use a scissor lift with "Trained" persons, but again always assess the task to ensure all hazards are identified along with ensuring you obtain the right one for the job.

Hi Yes I agree with what you are saying as I am from a farming background, the problem I have is within the sortation process, only large items are identified by operatives, small Lithium batteries will filter through the sieving process and not reach the sortation operatives, slightly larger ones w...

Re: DSEAR
Unfortunately we have no or little control on what people put into the waste, we send regular reminders out regarding the batteries and aerosols, but without having hundreds of people searching the waste like a police investigation line, this would be impracticable let alone very costly. The control...
