Re: What client management software do you recommend?
Hey, I highly recommend Trello, for anything project-based, it is a board-based system with loads of add ons, this can be shared across lots of people and can be updated with notes, then once the project is complete it can be archived. Some of the best features are you can add checklists, comments, ...

Its a sad day...
The other week I took my little ones to my childhood park, a lovely wooden park that had seen better times, as I was going up to the little fort I spent most of my nights and whole summers in as a child and spent a whole day painting with my friends it wobbled underneath my feet as I went up it. I t...

Re: Role of the H&S Manager
Hey, I had an issue similar to this is a previous job, it was a local cinema and part of my role was dealing with health and safety, the building itself was in poor condition and posed significant hazards to both staff and patrons, it was only after doing a short 5/10 minute presentation for the man...

Re: DRUG USE IN TOILETS
Hmm, this is a tough one, while it will be hard to completely eradicate drugs from a venue there are a couple of things you could do to reduce the appeal. I imagine you have security on the door as you're a venue, see about getting one with a Dog for a couple of week, they don't even need to get the...

Re: Gym balls in place of office chairs
My question is why would somebody want to do this, if they are saying the chairs are uncomfortable or they have back issues there are better solutions to this. I have sciatica and use one of these on my computer chair at home, its feels like i'm sitting on a cloud. https://www.amazon.com/ComfiLife-P...

Re: fire escape locked shut while staff are inside.
All fire exits must be unlocked while people are still in the building. Can the fire exits be opened from the outside? if so there is no need for them to be locked until the building is empty. If the door needs to be locked there are a couple of fairly simple solutions which could help, The most exp...

Re: Accident & Incident Management System
Hey,
Would you be able to elaborate as to why the current processes aren't working, i believe i'm going through something similar myself where things basically aren't being recorded even after putting up 5 additional near miss form locations throughout the warehouse.

Display Screen Assessments
Hey all, We've recently started using a few different pieces of tech in our operation, we've now got tablets, handheld scanners and AMT's (see picture) which are used on the production floor. My questions are, should i also be doing one for the smaller devices? does anyone have similar devices in th...

Manual Handling Solution
Hey All, I work at a food based subscription service, we have recently started making the ice packs used to keep the protein cold in house. We use a machine to create the ice packs, a team of 3 people then put them into crates and move them onto a pallet which is only about a meter away from the mac...

Re: Safety Conversation Booklets
Hey Glen, So yeah, anything to do with Performance, Technical Issues, Safety Concern or Unsafe Behavior. Things that aren't a immediate concern but we should know about and look into. We're having some issues with people not reporting incidents like these because they don't have the capacity to do i...

Safety Conversation Booklets
Hey all, I've been asked to get some safety conversation booklets made for the operatives in the warehouse to record incidents not considered a Near Miss or Accident, they need to be pocket sized so they are able to keep them on them while on the shop floor. I was wondering if anyone has this implem...
