These charges have not gone down well with plenty of friction on site no. A busy site with over 100 individuals your always get some who forget.
Considering the site has poor welfare I’d of been more concerned with that, but big house builders have their own agendas

CDM Regs : signing in/out each day
It’s been stated by a client that HSE say that it’s a legal requirement to sign in/out each day. Obviously this is important, but I just can’t find in the CDM Regs HSE stating this, only references to site inductions etc. Also clients will have their own take on this. Sorry yes the pipe length was 1.2m so maybe it could of easily been caught and a valid point raised, would you consider the act of throwing the pipe as just a freak accident at that point then?

Yes I had it withdrawn, and yes nepotism and maybe a bit to out spoken or to honest, and regards to the inspection I highlighted to areas they missed, which was relayed back to the office and I think that’s part of the reason to.

It’s a groundwork’s/landscaping company . The risk assessment actually refers to manual handling training and correct lifting techniques . My manager is adamant that the information supplied in the employees handbooks covers the company for manual handling training.
