Re: Risk assessment / Puwer assessment what is suitable and

Hi Glenn The power presses are all completely different in that they are all unique so I don't see how one or two risk assessments would cover all eventualities. ie some are coil fed, some have blank feeds, some have mechanical guards and some have light curtains. I 'm resposible for the 6 monthly i...

Risk assessment / Puwer assessment what is suitable and suff

Morning All After a few months of battling with uneducated muppets I have now decided to move to pastures new. before I go i'd like a sanity check on what you guys deem to be "suitable and sufficient" when it comes to risk assessments. Re: Had enough for now!!!

Its the age old problem of H&S v Production. They all think it's either one or the other and I believe that there's a third route where H&S and production go hand in hand.
It's not just about morals to be honest as I have my name all over the company policy so I'm fearful of prosecution as well .

Had enough for now!!!

That's it I've had enough! I've decided to throw in the towel and walk away from a business and a building I love. I work for a family run SME who operates a very old power press business as a maintenance manager for a few years but 8 months ago I was given the role of sorting out the H&S ...

Hi Tom If only  The pd and the PC have to sign it to say they've agreed a plan in principal however it would not give the Pc a get out of free jail card.
