Hi Towsey
If my memory serves me correct you can resit individual units provided it is all done within 5 years of passing one of the other units but couldn't say for 100% certainty as its been a while.

Re: HSE TRAINEE INSPECTOR JOBS
I also suspect that a lot of people with a level 6 or higher qualification are already earning more than the salary listed for the role, and so there is no incentive to change for a lot of people.

Re: Gaining experience
Hi CAD, Alas you are caught in the catch 22 situation I found myself in a number of years ago. Fortunately for me I was able to secure a role as a trainee advisor which I assume is not too dissimilar to what you are interviewing for at the moment? All I can say is keep doing what you are doing, join...

Re: I cant speak NEBOSHian.
The image attached shows an exam Question, what part of the learning outcome was tested and a brief description. Again this is just an example and the full report may go on to elaborate a little further. The examiners reports are handy tools, when used in conjunction with the learning material. So w...

Re: I cant speak NEBOSHian.
Unfortunetly the material that i find gives vague guidance on how to answer as well. Then i'd have to refer you back to the syllabus. It tells you exactly what the learning outcomes are, the study book gives you the information to tie in with that and the command word will ask you to demonstrate ho...

Re: I cant speak NEBOSHian.
The best way i have found to learn NEBOSH speak is to download and print the syllabus. It explains what you are going to learn, what the learning outcomes are and NEBOSH can only test you on those outcomes, its not like they can throw a spanner in to try and trick you. Also download and print a few ...

Re: Specific Stats
Thanks Alexis :) I had a good dig around these yesterday to be fair. I think what I am after is probably not recorded as a standalone and probably just falls within the bracket of being struck by something falling from height. I think looking for info so specific might be a struggle unless it comes ...

Specific Stats
Hey All, Its certainly been a while since I last posted on here, but I am struggling to find some info on specific stats I'm looking for :) and I thought someone is this mighty world of HSfB might just have the answer. What I am looking for is basically 1 - HSE Stats on Failure of Lifting Eqpt (as r...

Re: Risk Assessment Severity
surely if you put control measures in place both severity and probability will/could change? I appreciate it depends on the hazard and relevant control measures but he appears to be suggesting that severity will not change on any RA. Hi Lucy, touchy subject for some that :) I agree with you though,...
