I work as an HSEQ Manager for an organisation employing 27 people with a turn over of around £4mill, my son works for an organisation 3 times the size of mine and they outsource their H&S responsabilities to a consultant who visits once a month.........................go figure eh

We too were visited last week. Inspector stayed about half an hour, looked at the H&S notice board, made a few suggestions during her walk round, verbally commented on a missing guard on a Pillar Drill, a ladder propped against a wall, keys left in a FLT, and the fact our operatives were walking...
