Registration is now open for our upcoming, member-exclusive webinar taking place on Wednesday, February 15 at 11:00 am GMT:
A basic guide to manual handling and COSHH (in collaboration with Croner-i)
Part one of this webinar will focus on the key elements associated with controlling manual handling risk. This will include identifying manual handling activities with significant risk and the methods that can be used to reduce the risk.
Key Learning Points:
• Defining manual handling
• Identifying and evaluating manual handling risks
• Strategies to reduce manual handling risks
• Carrying out effective manual handling training.
Part two will cover how risk assessment is applied to hazardous substances in the workplace and the control measures your organisation can use to identify and reduce the risk of exposure.
Key Learning Points:
• Identifying hazardous substances in use in the workplace
• Assessing risk of exposure
• Implementing and maintaining controls to reduce exposure to hazardous substances in the workplace
• Monitoring to ensure exposure controls are working.
