Sadly I am unable to attend now.
I couldn't find a flight direct from my area to London City Airport at a reasonable time.
I would have had to have been at the airport from 3.30 AM for the first flight out and the next one was at 4.30 pm.
I could have gotten a reasonably priced flight to Stanstead, but I am afraid It would have been a marathon for me to find my way to the Excel venue from there. Nil sense of direction!
I have been saying it for years. I will have to arrange an HSfB meet-up convenient to the majority at some point.
Anyone wanting to meet-up with Jack on the day can send him a PM with their mobile number and he will contact you at the venue.
Enjoy yourselves.

Apologies Penners, I was RoSPA Awards the previous night and company had us in a hotel 2 hours away so never got back to hotel until 2am and just couldn’t face the journey.
For brilliance and, at the same time, for consistency of achievement, for activity in philanthropic enterprise, for astuteness of management and for general alertness, the superiors of Aston Villa cannot be found

Most unusual, yet useful, freebie was a proper Football. Not a plastic thing but proper sown together panels!
Great to meet up with Jack and share some stories over a light libation.
Collected a few of the obligatory re-useable shopping bags, though not as many as in previous years.
Now to wait for all the emails to start arriving from the badge scans.
Though I must admit, there seemed to be plenty of companies who were not scanning badges and therefore missing out on the after-show contact potential.
