Health and safety formulas

Hi, can anyone help me with hse formulas. I am not sure how to work out the injury severity. Under the injury severity there is first aid, medical intervention, hospitalisation and fatality. I need to make a dashboard with this information but i am not sure if I need a formula to work out the average? please help

There are many different forulas, depending on where you ae in the world and what it is you are trying to show on your dashboard.

A severity rate is usually calculated with any lost time injury and would look like this:

number of days off multiplied by 200,000 and divided by total numbers hours worked (by all employees) for the reporting period.

Many variations out there depending on country, industry etc.

Look also at your 'industry benchmark' (you can google that) and see what stats they measure, then try and use that so you can compare your company against others.

Other statistics I have seen used (LTR, LTFR, LTIR.............)
