I have literally just submitted my first assignment and am now (im)patiently waiting for the result to come in.

Good luck Paddy- my last assignment only took about 2 days to get the email regarding feedback.

I have just completed my certificate, and am doing the validation interview tomorrow for it.

I would, in hindsight have made more use of the tutors- they are very helpful and after the second assignment, one tutor spent a long time talking to me on the phone about bits that I hadn't quite got right, and why. He was also providing some thoughts on further reading which might be useful for me. So, I would advise people to contact tutors to discuss assignments or any questions,

Well done on the merit

Finally passed the 4th assignment on section 2 after 4 attempts. Feedback was shocking so it was really hard to pin point what they wanted. After speaking to a tutor I ended up changing just a single line from my 3rd attempt submission and I passed. A little frustrated with that but moving on. Section 3 to do now and thats one large assignment. Pass that and i'll have the diploma.

I've just submitted the second assessment.

I agree with the comments you make on the feedback, I was in a similar position where my first assignment failed. I then changed two lines and it got a Merit
