NVQ Level 5 - Unit 510 Promote Positive H&S Culture

Hi,

I've just started my NVQ and wondered if anyone whom has done this unit in the past can give me any advice in respect of evidence they used?

It will help give me a pointer in the right direction I think. I've got so much evidence to use, its just gaining a better understanding of what unit it can be used in, as at times it feels like it can be used in more than one unit!

Hi

Promoting a positive H&S culture can be a variety of things. Things like giving training to employees when new regulations come in to force, an example would be when CDM15 came into force - distributing or organising training for this would be seen as promoting a positive culture.

Other ideas are things like health and safety newsletters, safety awareness days, company inductions, toolbox talks, having suggestion / near miss cards available for staff, health and safety information displayed and up to date etc.

I hope this gives you some food for thought.

Hi I have recently started the NVQ Diploma level 5, The evidence I understand I think its the amount of writing and justification I am not clear on, does anyone have a template or guidance notes to get me started off.

The writing is the hardest part, I understand the process but find it hard to get going, any pointers would be greatly appreciated
