Hi Alan
I know it's not the resulted you wanted, but at least you now have a clear direction. I'm just very surprised that it got this far and there was not some sort of pre-qualification check list that the provider's salesperson went through to prevent all the heartache in the first place.
I hope you get stuck in on the NGC and remember, there are a lot of resources to help you on the main part of this site (click the box top left if you've never been there) and these forums too.
All the best for your studies

Hi Alan. Thank you for letting us know what transpired with your provider.
You will really enjoy the NGC and our members will certainly help all they can along the way, so just ask anything at all and we will all help.
It's terrible that you were mis-lead like this!

Re: Nvq5 update
Hey
Have you considered doing the NVQ 3 and then upgrading to the level 5? Chances are that a lot of your level 3 stuff will cross reference as you aiming high anyway. We issue the same text book for the level 3 as with the NEBOSH gen cert. So if you are self studying then you get more info off your assessor than you would on a lot of eLearning programmes.
Just a thought as you seem a bit fed up!
Regards
Linda
