Safety at Work John Ridley, John Channing
WOW!
This book is enormous in every way. Packed full of up-to-date (sixth edition) information. I have heard it called the safety practitioners bible. I tend to agree so far.
Well worth the money if you are serious about health and safety.
The only thing it lacks is a trolley to carry it around

There is no such thing as a "stupid" or "daft" health and safety question!

I'd agree with that Jack - the 5th edition helped me through my diploma. Quite expensive - I asked Father Christmas for mine!! (Sad or what!! ).
Must replace it with the 6th edition I think.

A mighty tome, I must update my 5th edition as well. I can also reccommend Jeremy Stranks' "Health and Safety Practice" as being in a similar vein.
The NEBOSH cert and Diploma sylabuses are based on this book as well....

Or the Kindle version at £79.80 seems good value for money if you have a kindle or the kindle app for your tablet/Ipad etc
