Hi All,
The company I work for achieved ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 earlier this year. The owner has now set up a sister company providing the same services but at a different location. He is under the impression we can just morph the existing accreditation to this new venture, as its the same services, same management team and same head office. I'm not convinced it's as simple as that, can anyone provide some advice please?
Thank You
Anders

Re: Transferring Accrediation
Doesn't look like your boss can do this as the specific branch assessed is the name and address on the Certification.
Item 5 (f) in the following link from the ACS Registrars UK has the answer.
Also Item 11 explains.

Re: Transferring Accrediation
As Alexis has said, a new location not already assessed would need a new assessment.
You best bet is to contact the company that provides your accreditation and see what they say
