certainly looks shocking on the face of it. It would be interesting to know if the tests were consistent with those required to classify a door as a 30 minute fire door. When I did my Nebosh Fire Certificate at the Fire Service College our tutor went to great lengths to get us to understand that any time attributed to a door or fire resisting material meant that it had withstood a very specific test criteria for that long at least, and that real world performance could be considerably less depending on the circumstances of the fire.
So when the whole world is safe..............what are we going to do then?
