Re: PAS7 - Training
I know I was asking about PAS 7 back in 2014 - with a view to implementing it - but events have overtaken that plan. Reviews and reorganisations have meant I am so busy, I haven't got any time to sit down and discuss such luxuries such as planning and strategy!! https://www.healthandsafetytips.co.uk/f ... 42&t=40133
Yes, I know it would help, especially as the portfolio I look after is so huge it's literally impossible for one person to manage. Just doing the FRAs would be a challenge, but add on projects, training and incident management and I resemble a beaten up old car, flat out and with a screaming engine, but only actually achieving 1 MPH (in reverse!!!)
The Grenfell fall out have completely messed up my FRA programme which is now all over the place. Huge projects have lumbered on with no fire safety input and I struggle to write reports in the gap between doing the inspection. I have resorted to Turing my phone off until lunchtime, just to find space
So to find a gap to discuss PAS 7 with all the many managers I'd have to agree it with just aint gunna happen

Re: PAS7 - Training - Now BS9997
Document now BS9997 as of this week....I feel this will evolve as time goes by and be an accepted approach to a management system for fire safety as HSG65 did become for H&S
