Oh sweet lungs....

Post by MrsMuppet »

Well, a bit of an eventful weekend for me...

Saturday morning, 3am I woke up struggling to breathe with an awful pain in my right lung, got taken into hospital with a suspected pulmonary embolism

After a series of awful tests (CTPA scan when carrying baby muppet in utero is über scary!) they could not find any large clots (thank The Lord! ./thumbsup.. ) so I have now been discharged with a nasty lung and respiratory tract infection and pumped full of antibiotics. Still struggling to breathe when doing anything other than lounging on the sofa, but hopefully it will clear up soon!

In the mean time, no work for me until I can get a full sentence out without nearly passing out and just catching up on the lack of sleep from the last few days!

[smilie=smiley-faces-28.gif] You nearly gave me another attack Mrs M and baby M!!!

You keep those legs vertical and watch some rom-coms with a big box of your favourite choccies. .pale

Be good to yourself and baby will benefit also.

What a terrible scare for you.
I recommend several doses of 'Jeremy Kyle', backed up by a liberal sprinkling of 'homes under the hammer' and some of those awful cheesy films that film4 put on in the afternoon. This treatment works best if you are sitting down on a sofa with your feet up and being fussed over on a 24/7 basis. Like most medicines, is hideously awful while you are tasting it, but should get you on the straight and narrow

Oh, and by the way - it's probably wise to keep off those Cuban cigars for a while. :)

I think any "dose" of Jeremy Kyle should be considered an overdose!

I hope you and baby muppet are back on your feet soon. In the meantime however, take advantage of putting your feet up and enjoying some movies and chocolates.

Sounds like you have earned it anyway, and it's a good excuse to relax.

Take care of you.
