Failed NGC3

Post by sunnyc88 »

Hi there,
1st post and not a great one. Just got my result back and failed my ngc3 got 55. I passed ngc 1 and 2. I am so angry at myself as i felt that the ngc3 would be in the bag. I wanted to see if there was somebody who could possibly look over my ngc3 and tell me where I went wrong. I wanted to go on to the diploma but I dont think i will now as this has just knocked my confidence and the fact that it has put me back by 3 months as the results take so long. Thanks and any help or advice on ngc3 will be grateful.

Hi sunnyc88.

A very warm welcome to you.

congrats on passing NGC 1&2

No-one fails! We are referred. ;) There have been tons of us who were "referred" but got there in the end. .salut

Good advice from Waterbaby as always.

If it were me, I don't think losing a few marks on the NGC3 would stop me from going with my plan of doing the Diploma.

If it had been on 1 or 2, then maybe different, but not simply on the NGC3.

Going to PM you in a moment.

Good to have you aboard. .salut

Hi Sunny,

clapclap clapclap on the 1 and 2 at the first attempt (braver than I was)
We've all been there.
A referral makes you even more determined to succeed in the near future!!
Keep plugging away, Referrals only make you stronger!!
You'll get there in the end.
Ask your Tutor for a breakdown of unit C and concentrate on the points that you missed out on when you next submit.

Good luck! ./thumbsup.

Morning Everyone.
I'm in the process of re-editing my coursework for submission on Friday. Since I am completing the course by distance, I was wondering if there was any advice anyone had in mind? It's tricky when there is no feedback available ../.

Thank you

Hi Confused,

You say you are completing by distance learning.
You must still have a tutor to turn too????
You are paying for e-learning which will include a tutor.
Did you get initial feedback?

Regards,

Hi Safetysmurf,

I didn't recieve any feedback as the course provider I went with has forums (but no one posted about this module). At this point, I no longer have the online resources as its only providing for a year (from the date of purchase).

When referencing regulations, should I have been more specific in regards to schedule numbers? I'm looking at what I've done and it does look weak on the moral arguement front.

Thank you

Hi Confused,

I would email your tutor and tell them your predicament. They are the ones that would mark your NGC3 so they should be giving you feedback if you ask for it.(even if you are out of time). Without seeing your NGC3 it would be wrong for me to comment on how you could improve. Time limits on courses of 1 year are ridiculous. You have paid your money, so you should receive that service and they are IMO just trying to get more cash out of you.

Feel free to pop over a copy of your NGC3 and I`ll have a look over it and office any advise I can. I am no expert but I have helped a couple of previous forum users with their NGC3 so have a bit of experience.
