Re: Woodie`s Website Updates
New pieces added to my website,
The bowl is made from Ash, which has been coloured with Yellow, Red, Orange Spirit stain
The Goblet is made from Burr Elm, which has been coloured, and the stem made from Maple, this pice won third place in my Local woodturning clubs competition, i took it to the club to show someone after i had demonstrated the technique of making them just recently, and for a bit of a joke i entered it and it came third, the piece was not completly finished, but is now.

Re: Woodie`s Website Updates
Is it really that long since I put an update on here, over a year, it must be the use of social networking!!
Anyway today I have managed to achieve a great honour on a piece of my woodturning. It has received the cover photo of the World of Woodturners website, it is a pretty exclusive site, but has turners from all over the world trying to achieve the cover photo, the photo is chosen by a select number of turners of high standing!
I have attached the photo, it is made from beech, and measures 280mm x 25mm

Re: Woodie`s Website Updates
I have been in love with your artwork for years Woodie, but this one is outstanding. Well done is not praise enough in my book. Well deserved as the cover photograph!
Maybe give us a pose or two alongside the next exclusive?
