Good morning one and all

Feeling fine and bouncy this morning, its like a weight has been lifted and the wind has blown a huge black cloud away. Expecting a call this morning from my soon to be ex area manager so I can confirm my acceptance of their severance offer, and the discussions that will go with that. I will have to go into the office at some point to collect everything I left there, and hand in my id card, but thats it.

Off for a walk round the sheep paddocks to check on them (part of my new work is right outside my back garden!), check the mole traps, (a slightly unsavoury part of my job alas) but the cats are beating me 4 to 2 on moles caught

and then the hedge needs a trim as the warm weather has caused it to sprout like a mad thing.

Sounds like a great way to spend your day Ady

I have a day off today as my employer owes me 4 days flexi (TOIL).. Looking forward to washing the car and a pub lunch.

I have a little studying to do for a meeting first thing tomorrow - just don't tell Mrs Messy as she has banned me from bringing work home

Morning Ady sounds like your in a good place

and Messy i used to enjoy having TOIL when i worked for the prison service.Glen a cuppa is ALWAYS a good place to start

todays a nice day in W London 1st of 4 days then i am off on hols for a week and a day

diary is nice and quiet as well

Pretty bouncy all round this morning by the sounds of things.

Ady - I am defo envious of you! You deserve every bit of this joyous new job.

Messy - Another well deserved time-out for you too. Enjoy your slow and easy day.

Glen - Sympathies for your day.

Hope it isn't as long as you think. Enjoy the biccies at all those meetings.

Nige - There should be a holiday week at least once every month.

A wee bit dull at the moment. Getting too used to sunshine every day.

Just bobbing out to deliver Grandaughter to her work place shortly, returning to a splurge on emails and a huge catch up in here.

My day has been giving inductions this morning and now catching up with the emails from last week. All emails except mine should be banned

just been told all of our mail is being redirected in readiness for our office moove .......................... trouble is no one bothered to tell any one so several of us have parcels sent to another address and we wont get them till wed !!!!

there are a couple of highly irritated people in the office ME being one of them

oh the move wont be happening tfor at least 4 weeks
