Was going to post this morning, but circumstances got in the way.
Had a fun trip up to Glasgow over the weekend, should have taken my car though and not the wife's, not that her car is bad, it was just after 2 hours I felt akin to being hit in the kidneys with a base ball bat, and that was us just getting over the border, let alone the other 2 hours to the hospital. Wish I could report that mom is doing great, but I am not that good of a liar. Apart from high calorie drinks she is not eating, and also not walking, I have seen more meat on a butchers pencil she looked that thin. It is proposed to have her moved to Dr Greys Hospital in Elgin, so dad can get home and travel in to see her, it is just sorting out the logistics that will be interesting.
A certain International Rugby team that lost on Sunday was using the Conference/Hotel side of the Golden Jubilee over the weekend, so I guess what ever I tipped into their water must have worked
And I am looking at a new job, still in catering, and again with an Independent School, but this school is alot closer, they pay is better, and I would be my own boss. Only down side is it is the same company there that is taking us over here, but the contract will have been in place for a few years, so it will be just like slotting into a new role, rather than having to swap procedures in the same role. Fingers crossed it works out.
