Morning all,
Very dark, bu unseasonably warm i Yorkshire, just awaiting the inbound wind, but doubt it will be too bad here, it has not been so far when we have had these warnings.
Had a crappy morning in hospital on Saturday as the good lady had a camera down her throat....turns out she has a Hiatus Hernia, something called Barrette's Oesophagus (where the stomach acid eats away the lining of the tubes) and 2 biopsies sent off....which meant we were only in for 3 hours instead of 5 as we did not get to see the consultant, no point until we get the results back....so the rest of my weekend was rather blugh...always one of us with problems
Anyway, have a good week all, the kids go on 1/2 term 4pm Wednesday, so it will be quieter here for a bit.

(That man from Crete HB beat me to submitting his post, so here is mine bringing us back to dismal UK.) Morning HB.
Good Morning SC, Tigger and Nigel.
Good Morning to everyone who enters later.
SC - Understood! 10/4.
Take care on your travels.
Tigger - Sorry to hear of Mrs. T's problems. Once she gets her medication, she will be on top form again.
Nige - What did you win? Glad you had a terrific weekend. You sounded in need of a pick me up on Friday.
Still night time here, which is going to remain that way all day. Not a breath of wind at the moment. The lull before the storm.
Was at a family wedding on Saturday which was the best ever. Sang, jigged, ate, drank, cuddled everyone and died on Sunday!
I've gone off red wine forever!
I have to go out for an hour today and trying to judge the best time in-between the weather forecasts. Siri (others are available) tells me just to "stay at home!.
Have a slow and easy Monday and be very careful if in the worst of this storm. Especially in Ireland.

Good Afternoon All
Weather has been horrendous this morning (
http://www.met.ie/) with one fatality in the south-east of Ireland.
https://www.rte.ie/news/2017/1016/91270 ... -fatality/
All schools and child-care facilities are closed nationally, most businesses are also closed, all outpatient appointments are cancelled and travel is minimal -

We still have electricity on in my area but many do not -

Indoors for the day

Look after yourselves WB. It's terrible!
It has only just lightened a little here and I am told it was so dark all day due to the smoke from the firs in Portugal.

Spooky yellow / grey sky here in W London with a big red sun glowering down, the wind is starting to pick up as well at lower levels ( it was already blowwy higher up)
LAst time i saw sky this colour was 2011 when we had a pile of snow !!!!!
