Post by Jack Kane » Sun Oct 31, 2010 8:29 am

Don't forget to change your forum clocks from within your user control panel.

Go into your user control panel. Link at the top of the main page of the forums.

Click on the 'board preferences' tab.

Make sure 'Summer Time/DST is in effect:' is set to No

Press submit.

It only takes one person to listen to another one person to make a difference to that one person on that one day.

Following recent changes to the Forum software, the Moderator Team has found that the procedure for setting your time zone has changed.

If your forum clock is showing the wrong time, you no longer select a button for Summertime/DST.

Please check your Timezone is correct for Summer/Winter time on your user Control panel. There is a direct link to this (once logged in) under your username on the top right.

If you are using UK Time....
In the Winter, you should be on UTC
In the Summer you should be on UTC+1

.
This shows what happens if you have UTC selected during the Summer, the Control Panel will suggest that perhaps you should be on UTC+1

.

Once you select UTC+1, you will see that Europe/London shows in the 2nd Box, as below.

If you're not in the UK, feel free to have whatever setting you need
