Friday 16 March 2018

Exactly what the title implies...pop in and say "good morning" or even "good evening" and tell us what's on the cards for today or how your day went.

Morning All,

Definitely breezy in the granite city this morning...and rather chilly.

At least it's Friday.

Have a great day folks,

Wendo .salut

Good morning all,

Thought I would pop in briefly prior to heading into work so at least you all know I am not AWOL  We have been running solo this week, without any of the company head bods in the building, so although it has been busy, it appears to have been less stressful, although the mountain of paperwork is stupid, we now have 3 times as much to do for the same procedures....this is the price of progress I guess.

We are meant to have some more of the white stuff this weekend.....and its village clean up this Sunday, so I will need to make sure I wrap up well for that.

Hope you all have a good day .salut

Good morning Wendo, Ady and all who follow

And WoooooHoooo for Friday or is it  Duty for the next seven days and the Port of Aberdeen is closed to all shipping  which means a lot of disappointed Sailors awaiting to go home and sitting out in the Bay :( Very high easterly winds therefore most of the ports around this area are closed to shipping, Leith is going to be the nearest which causes lots of problems for logistics and crew getting there .scratch

Have a great start to your weekend whatever the weather ./thumbsup..

Waterproof felt that I fixed on the shed roof yesterday has been torn big-time this morning with this baby beast from the east. Man with a hammer coming today to fix it before the snow arrives.

Freezing out there this morning! .shakingagain .shakingagain I need some warm sunshine.

Grandson and Partner are taking me out for lunch today, which I will enjoy. :D

Hope you all have a good Friday and the bestest weekend. :D bighug

Evening All....

Today proved to be as fun as I expected it to be....30 minutes to go (not that I am counting) and then its Scooby power home!

Plus side is I have 3 nice new shirts paid for by the company waiting for me at home.....just as well I got them on sale though, they would not have wanted to pay the original price for them! (Got them at £20 per shirt rather than the original £49! )
Youngest had an emergency appointment with back specialist today as the specialist is away next week....looks like April 17 he is back under the knife, to have a load of metal work removed from his spine.....and a 6 week minimum turn around before he is less then poorly :( just as well he can work from home....

Ok, now 24 minutes till home time  best make sure the team have not burned down the kitchen in protest

Enjoy your weekend .salut
