Morning All
Another bright, if chilly, morning in the granite city.
Have a great Tuesday folks

We must have created our posts at virtually the same time there SC so I've merged the posts. Safe trip to Shetland tonight. I hope it's not too choppy for you
You are only a millimetre or a millisecond away from the next incident.

Re: Tuesday 7 March 2017
Good morning everybody peeps,
Another fantastic sun rise this morning, was not expecting to scrape the car, but there you go.
Safe trip across to Shetland SC, I was last there in 91 when the army still had a base there, but at least I was fortunate enough to fly into Sumburgh. As for the fuel spill, not so good, one of the reasons the folks down at Cromarty do not want ship to ship oil transfers, as no matter how many fail safes put in, there is always human error that can cause an issue.
Still have staff issues, I had to bite my tongue yesterday when one lass who has been off a week tried to come back still with Conjunctivitis, but had not been to the chemist to get the prescription her GP had issued.....I just can not understand the mentality of some people, and I have seen some right fruit cakes!
Anyway, role on 1600 and the road home, have a good one

Good Morning Wendo, SC, Tigger, Will and All.
Just spied the road line marking crew right outside my driveway. They have actually paid attention to my e-mail! Nice one that the Council have obliged so quickly. I have tried to get speed bumps, but no-can-do, thus repainting of the 20 MPH road markings.
Considering they have re-classified the road to a 30 MPH (how on earth did they justify that with a T-road) I suppose I should be happy. They actually told me on the telephone that they want to keep their road marking team in employment, so would still come and repaint the 20 MPH marking until told not to, even although it is now a 30 zone.
Whilst awaiting the paint to dry, I have a couple of member things to take care of. The afternoon will be a couple of hours out, returning to see what you have all been up to in the forums.
SC - Safe sea trip! Hope it won't be too choppy.

It is amazing what one week and a bit of hard work can achieve, not anywhere near on a par with our Woodys amazing pieces, but it is fantastic to feel the wood get smoother and softer as it is worked on

Tigger, you need to visit Woody and have a go with his equipment. Well done!
