Constuction Phase Plan

Post by stretch3144 »

Hi all,

Is a CPP required for removal of large equipment from a business?

Many thanks.

Probably, depends on what you're talking about.
removal of large equipment from a business
doesn't really give much detail.
Is the work within the definition of 'Construction' because the answer will help...

Have you tried looking at the HSE website for the list of the sort of stuff that is covered?
Go and read up on L153, that should help. .salut

Thanks for the direction Bernie.
The company has sold a large piece of machinery which will be dismantled and removed from one of our work units. I have had a google and found that removal for decommissioning / refurbishment will require CDM 2015 regulations.
I'm not Construction qualified but am reading through L153 at the moment. The contractor we are using have their own H&S person so I will liaise with her over our duties.
Many thanks,

Stretch

It's the definitions in Reg 2 that you need to get your head around.

There's quite a lot there.... :(
