PUWER Question

Post by Siblo »

Hi guys,

Not visited in a while, been too busy. Missed you all

How do you all comply with PUWER regs regards small workshop machines, (bench grinders, band saws, pillar drill) and the provision of start and stop controls and E-stops.

Was looking at either retro-fitting controls, or purchasing upto date kit. But newer kit does not seem to apply either.

Thanks in advance

Hi Siblo,

We have a bunch of pillar drills on a long bench and retro fitted E-stops under each machine.

We wanted consistency across all machinery so fitted them on the front of the bench underneath.
