traffic lights / pedestrian crossings

Post by Merlot »

Hi all,

long time lurker but i need a bit of assistance?

I am trying to find a set of traffic lights or pedestrian crossing lights to install on a busy site, quite simple you may think! The only issue is that its in the middle of the yard with no power supplies and no means to get power there.

I am after the sort of lights you see around roadworks, but can i find them? NO

Any suggestions for battery powered or solar crossings ??

Thanks in advance.

If you do a search for "battery powered temporary traffic lights" or "cable free temporary traffic lights" you get a few options returned - from battery powered (lastign around 10 days of charge) to diesel powered lights - some for sale and some for hire so hopefully there is something amongst them that suits your needs? No idea how much they cost mind. Good luck :-)

Thanks for the help.

its weird that sometimes you cant find something using a google search but someone else does!

new key words to search for and the link provided have helped no end.

Should have found exactly what I am after, turns out they are round the corner from my house and I never knew they were there.

Thanks again.
