I feel you have to cover everything in a SSW. Due to the claim culture that has popped up over the last several years. Helps you get the proportional liability right if I claim arises.

hi all
i am sorry but you wont be making millions yet ,you can buy standard pallet trucks, with either a deadman brake ie you have to keep the trigger pulled up to be able to move it,as soon as you let it go the brake comes on ,or with a progressive brake ,it opperates the same as a bikes brake.

Hi Lensman personally I would and have pulled it behind me, that way you are facing the direction of travel and you still have control of the truck, assuming you have checked your route of travel is clear first then there should be no reason why this cannot be done safely, when yo ucome to stop or position the truck you would turn around and lower the pallet.

Dang it, so much for my epic invention.... :)
If it isn't broken, that doesn't mean you can't improve it. (Do three negatives make a positive ?)

4 Never move at more than a slow walking pace.

No danger of that happening here, with or without a pallet truck!

I've never seen it on any I've used in the past maybe given so many issues with these pieces of equipment maybe the BS should be changes so there should be such a device fitted on all new pallet trucks.
